Quilt run – a video game!

Where do I start? First with the declaration that my son won Christmas. Not just at my house, but globally.
Let me explain. He made literally the coolest present ever. A video game. For me. From scratch. About quilting.
Seriously.

Jelly roll quilt for boss’ wife

My boss’ wife has been in the hospital for nearly three weeks, so my co-worker, Jessie, and I decided to make her a quilt. I donated the jelly roll

And Jessie added some from her own stash to make this vibrant top:

I immediately took Well Blankie off the frame and put this quilt on instead.

I picked out a great pantograph design, and assumed I could finish the quilting in one evening, two max! A week later I still haven’t finished the quilting.
There have been a combo of factors. Birthdays, cleaning, getting sick, a funeral and then my back giving out! I’m still diligently plugging away.
